We Need Your Help!

The DC Tutoring & Mentoring  Initiative needs your help -- both to recruit people to help as tutors and mentors and for our organizational partners:

If you can carve out as little as two hours a week, you can make a huge difference. 

1. Tutoring or mentoring (of course)

2. Help with outreach at outdoor movie nights, farmer’s markets, and festivals

3. Host a group of friends or neighbors to learn more about our work

4. Recruit other people or organizations to help or take on a specific project

5. Write for our blog, website, or social media

6. Help with graphic designs, photos or videos

7. Lend us other types of  expertise you may have

8. Help our partner organizations with your expertise & time, even if you can’t tutor or mentor

9. Help us with fundraising

10. Do you have leadership development or research skills?  Work with us to develop training materials and sessions for volunteers
