Our core activity during the June Work Group Meeting centered around key barriers that would hinder us from achieving our 12- month objectives. 

The work group developed a list of the following key-barriers. 

• Competent health professionals
• Coordination
• Difference in access depending on insurance
• Expanding existing providers
• Facilities and resources for meeting
• Identifying expert in culturally competent messaging
• Literacy of target population
• Money and resources
• Partner engagement
• Small Urban Congress staff for supporting Work Plan
• Socially appropriate plans and messaging
• Time to complete plans 

In July, delegates will finalize their work plans, review key indicators for success, and begin mapping out action steps to meet our goals.
