CIRP Freshman Survey   (link)

UCLA''s Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) conducts this annual survey:

For over three decades, more than 1,700 colleges and universities have participated in CIRP''s student surveys. The CIRP Freshman Survey is the most widely used source of information about college and college students in the nation. (HERI web site)

Among other topics covered, the 4-page survey instrument captures information on career and life goals, and volunteer activities in the past year.

The survey was created by the American Council of Education''s Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP).

In addition to the Freshman Survey, HERI also conducts the College Student Survey and the Your First College Year Survey, both of which ask questions dealing with student values.
