Identifying religious and governmental organizations-Auspice Codes (Method Note)

All BMF records are coded first since these have IRS activity codes useful for indentifying religious organizations. Remainder of organizations from master list of NTEEs (NTEEDOC) are then coded based solely on name of organization.

AUSPICE code is added. These should be translatable into NTEE Auspice codes but initial effort was to put organizations into one of about a dozen broad codes.
