During the school year our Cocoa Boys & Girls Club operates from after school to 9 PM, Monday-Thursday, and to 6 PM on Friday.  During school holidays and summers this Club is open from 7 AM to 6 PM, Monday-Friday.  Our Cocoa Club offers daily after-school and full-day summer youth development programs.  This Club Experience provides at-risk youth with a safe, nurturing environment and empowering programs, teaching them the skills, knowledge and attributes they need to make positive choices, pursue their dreams and succeed in life.  Five core program areas are emphasized: Character & Leadership Development, Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, the Arts, and Sports, Fitness, & Recreation.  Club staff strive to reach the following goals with members: Academic Success (increased academic performance and school attendance); Good Character & Citizenship (increased character/leadership skills and opportunities for community service); and Healthy Lifestyles (reduced delinquency, violence and involvement in drug and alcohol abuse and/or criminal gangs).  Kids who attend our Cocoa Boys & Girls Club regularly won't be lost to violence, gangs, or drugs.  Instead, they will graduate high school with future plans, while growing to honor, respect, and lead their families and communities.

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida and its Cocoa Branch is to enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.
